Paper presentation is an effective way to test and show case your technical knowledge.EEE department of Ciencia 2K12 provides you an opportunity to present and explicate your paper to experts and get indispensable suggestions from them, also win exciting prizes.

 
Team Specifications
Maximum number of Participants allowed in a team is TWO (Participants can be either from same institution or different)
You can also participate individually.
 
Individual Participation - Rs 150
Team of two - Rs300
 
Paper Specifications
1. The paper should be submitted in IEEE format with abstract and should not exceed 15 pages.
2. The font should be Times New Roman and font size should be 12pt.
 
Registration Procedure
 
"Before you proceed for registrations please see that your paper meets IEEE format and is well documented with illustrations and examples"

2. Your full name or the name you would like to get on the certificate should be entered in the registration form
3. Enter a working email address (preferably Gmail) 
4. On successfull registration you will receive a confirmation mail with a link to download the receipt in pdf format Your receipt will have all the details generated automatically
 
 
5. Take a print of your receipt and attach(staple) it to the hard copy.Your receipt should be on the first page of your paper
6. Contact your nearest nodal center incharge and submit your paper along with the prescribed amount
 
Last day for submission postponed to 12th i.e Your papers should reach us by 10th March
  
 
Certificate Policy
All the participants who have submitted paper at Ciencia 2K12 will be given a participation certificate and the winners will be awarded merit certificate along with cash prize.
 
Selection Procedure
Abstract will be selected based on the content and originality.
The selected abstracts will be given a chance to present their topic in the form of PPT (Power Point) or Poster
 
Powerpoint Presentation Rules :
• Maximum of 10 slides are allowed.
•Presentation time is limited to 10 minutes followed by 2minutes of discussion.
•Team size is restricted to only 2 members. Individual presentations are also allowed.
•Participants are requested to be punctual and make sure to carry their college ID card on the day of event.
 
 
Poster Presentation Rules : 
•Can use a maximum of 2 charts.
•Presentation time is limited to 10 minutes followed by 2 minuted of discussion
•Team size is restricted to only 2 members. Individual presentations are also allowed.
•Participants are requested to be punctual and make sure to carry their college ID card on the day of event.
•Your posters should be readable from a minimum distance of 6 feet(2 meters).
•Posters can be prepared on ordinary A4, A5, or 8 1/2" x 11" size paper. Larger sheets may also be used.
 
*All the teams shortlisted will be informed 1 week before Ciencia i.e on 9-3-2012 so that they get time for preparing poster or ppt
